Dear Readers and Creators,
We are excited to share the inspiration behind the Thèria Haus family crest, our first print, which is deeply rooted in ancient Hermetic philosophy, specifically The Kybalion's Principle of Rhythm. This principle teaches that everything in life moves in cycles: creation and destruction, rise and fall, just like the ebb and flow of the tides. We’ve drawn from this rhythm to craft our brand’s symbol, which reflects the ongoing transformation that shapes not only the world around us but also our own lives.
The crest features five powerful elements: Fire, Spirit, Air, Water, and Earth, each playing a unique role in the journey of creation and rebirth. These elements symbolize the inner forces that shape our lives: passion, change, intellect, emotion, and stability. Together, they tell the story of life’s continuous cycle, where destruction gives way to renewal, and where every ending holds the seed of a new beginning.
At the heart of this story is a hero's journey. The White Rhino, standing as the patriarch, burns down the home he’s worked so hard to build. He is also a symbol of strength and leadership. The Peacock, the matriarch, then waters the roots of the family home, nurturing its rebirth. Along the way, Dragonflies spread the winds of change, and the Orchid, resilient and full of beauty, represents the growth that follows adversity.
We also wanted to share a few deeply personal aspects of our crest: the Penguins at its crown represent our family. Our crest symbol honors the love and unity that binds us, inspired by Justin's proposal to Lara at a penguin colony in Ushuaia, Argentina, where they dressed up in penguin onesies. The Chihuahua is our first baby Coconut, and one of the greatest loves of Lara's life, whose spirit now lives on as a green butterfly, reminding us of the power of transformation and the enduring connection between the physical and spiritual worlds. The hidden message in Braille is “Close your eyes and see,” which invites you, our readers, to imagine a different world, one where creativity, empathy, and connection guide us toward a brighter future. Thèria isn’t just about art; it’s about re-writing stories, embracing the whimsical, and shining a light on our blind spots. We hope our work inspires you to reflect, transform, and grow alongside us.
With love and gratitude,
The OG Thèria Family

The Family Crest
The Principle of Rhythm
We invite you to close your eyes so you can see
the unraveling of a mystery
join us on this hero’s journey
to unlock a fascinating origin story.
Forget the narratives we have chosen to believe,
the very things to which the ego clings
of what makes you, you, and what makes me, me
imagine it all slightly differently.
Let us wave the magician's sleight of hand across your mind
you may well enjoy what you find,
like discussing current events over your morning coffee
intrigued by the possibility that our origin began merrily
the big bang mere fireworks at Eden's annual garden party.
Male, female, creature, hybrids all behave
lacking that predatory DNA
No scarcity, no overlord greed
every creature has all that it needs.
Imagine how we engage with all creatures
without subtext from different features
enlightenment comes with respect and trust
coupled with consensual lust
for each breath on this spinning ball
should be cherished by us one and all
Close your eyes and dare to see
what this world could mean for you and me
submerge yourself inside our womb
let us be your supportive cocoon
go on imagining this world we've created
it should make us all motivated.
Follow our characters as their stories unfold
their goals and intentions more precious than all of the gold
Please close your eyes so you can see
what it means to be truly free.

The Thèria Matriarch and Patriarch Guardians: Bronze Entry Sculptures
Standing proudly at 7 feet tall on either side of a grand entrance, the Thèria Matriarch and Patriarch Guardians are monumental hand-painted bronze sculptures inspired by the central characters of the Thèria crest. They are designed to embody wisdom, strength, and harmony between humanity, nature, and the animal kingdom. They are the reminders of the Kybalion’s Principle of Rhythm: reflecting the eternal movement between creation and destruction, expansion and contraction, endings and beginnings.
Much like traditional Chinese foo dogs that stand sentinel to protect sacred spaces, these figures serve as symbolic protectors and storytellers at the threshold of a Thèria home, hotel, or estate. Together, these two sculptures stand as living embodiments of the Thèria philosophy: that intellect and intuition, strength and sensitivity, masculinity and femininity must exist in balance to sustain life and creativity. Their placement at an entryway is deeply intentional, invoking a symbolic passage into a world where art, nature, and consciousness converge. Each bronze statue is handcrafted and patinated for depth and character, making them not only guardians of space but heirloom works of art that are timeless, meaningful, and unforgettable.
